Within the framework of the session “Accessible and high-grade social services: role of government and private sector”, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Alexey Lavrov told in what state is the interaction of the state and non-state suppliers in the sphere of social services in Russia.

According to him, many regions still refuse to promote the participation of the non-state sector in the provision of social services, referring to the federal law.

Recently, a bill has been brought to the State Duma that affecting this sphere, as the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation noted, this was very difficult for the government, and then an even more important step is to accept the document in the autumn session.

Alexey Lavrov also asked participants in the discussion to identify and provide him with a list of barriers that non-state suppliers face in the provision of social services.
