Business journalism is going through a difficult stage of adaptation to the requirements of contemporary information society. The speed and volumes of information increase with every second. Pursuit of high ratings, grabbing headlines, provocative statements and, ultimately, advertiser money has changed the contemporary media market significantly. Quality is set against quantity while verified analysis has to compete against an infinite news stream. What does the future hold for quality business journalism under such reality? Will new format media or social media channels eventually push reputable business media out of public spotlight?

For the first time in the Moscow Financial Forum, the business media transformation and new formats for information dissemination will be discussed by media pundits and larger media representatives. The session "Business Journalism vs. News Aggregators: Who Will Win?" will be held in the Manege Central Exhibition Hall on the second day of the Forum, September 13.
