The second day of the Moscow Financial Forum will be opened with a plenary session “Economic Reforms in Russia: Evolution & Today’s Priorities”. Russia has amassed a rich reformation experience: from Witte’s and Stolypin’s reorganizations to the “shock therapy” of the 1990s. Various innovations have been known to radically change the vector of the socioeconomic development of the country on numerous occasions.
The Russian experience can be called a unique one. What lessons have we learned? Will we be able to successfully utilize this historical background, while avoiding the mistakes of the past? What reforms are we in need of now? Should we create new mechanisms of their actualization or should we use the existing know-how? Will the national goals and projects be able to become a successful reform tool?
Answers to these questions will be given by the plenary session speakers: First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation - Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov, CEO, Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank Herman Gref, Chairman of the Executive Board of UK RUSNANO OJSC, Chairman of the Management Board of the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs Anatoly Chubais. Andrey Makarov, the Chairman of the Committee on Budget and Taxes of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, will be moderating the session.
