A round table discussion on the Strategy for improving financial literacy to be held on September 7 is going to be one of key events of the 3rd Moscow Financial Forum.

Financial literacy is a tool for improving people’s welfare, developing financial markets, and creating investment resources.

The Government of the Russian Federation has adopted the Strategy for Improving Financial Literacy intended to consolidate the efforts of the federal executive authorities, the Bank of Russia, Russian regional and local authorities, civil society institutions, and financial organizations.

The round table participants will be discussing the opportunities available to the regions as part of creating regional program for improving financial literacy, and how to arrange inter-departmental interaction and relationship with business.

Additionally, the speakers will be analyzing proven practices in an attempt to understand how to scale them across the country, including organizing the activities of regional centers for financial literacy.
