On the first day of the Moscow Financial Forum, on September 6, government representatives and Russian and international experts on social policy will participate in a business session titled "New Challenges in the Social Sphere Facilitating Achievement of Russia's Demographics and Healthcare National Objectives Till 2024".

The discussion of demographic factors will give special focus to the development and implementation of a program aimed at providing systematic support to senior citizens and improving their quality of life. The participants will also discuss the prerequisites for enabling women with children to find employment and ensuring that by 2021 preschool education is accessible for all children aged under 3.

Key healthcare topics include the development and implementation of programs aimed at eradicating cancer and cardiovascular diseases, development of children's healthcare, including the provision of modern healthcare infrastructure for children, as well as measures to make primary healthcare easily available and accessible to the population.
